We ended up only having three children, Cyrus, Naomi, and Delaney, but it was still chaotic and tons of fun. I am hoping to make this a tradition. Hopefully next year there will be a few more children in bunny ears.
Cyrus liked being in the middle
The hunt started in the family room to find the easy eggs
Can you see the egg Cyrus is scoping out
Naomi was a little slower than Delaney and Cyrus, but Cyrus wanted to share his eggs with her
Delaney was a professional hunter she found the most eggs
Mama helping him unwrap his winnings
The Easter Bunny came to visit
Okay its just spaz, but how adorable is this?
We love our geriatric bunny. He's 12 almost 13 and 6 years past his expectancy
Cyrus needed to hold his bunny, the feeling wasn't mutual
Naomi, always all smiles
Delaney finding the "more difficult placed" eggs
Cyrus finding an egg
After the egg hunt we had lunch, but it was really early and the kids actually weren't that hungry after all the candy they ate. The hunt started at 10, and they were done by 11. So next year I can have the hunt at 11, and then eat lunch. Hopefully next year we will have better weather. Today was rainy so the kids could only hunt in the family room and the deck area. I think they still had a fun. They especially loved when I brought Spaz D. Bunny down from his room. I can't say that Spaz enjoyed all the attention, but I am sure it was good for him. Cyrus did grab him by the ears one too many times, but he just loves very physically I guess that is the Butler in him (Right Auntie Rae?).
Ryan, Thank you so much for making this happen. I am pretty sure you are the one who suggested it AND you did all the prep work. You were so thoughtful of the children and made this a really fun day. Thanks for being amazing at the job God has given you. Cyrus and I love you and appreciate all that you do for us.
